From 7 August to 14 September 2025, BIOTEXFUTURE presents the exhibition
BIOTEXFUTURE: Zukünfte der textilen Wertschöpfungskette (Futures of the Textile Value Chain)
at the Future Museum in Nuremberg.
This immersive exhibition showcases the latest research findings on bio-based textiles, alternative resources and circular production systems.
Visitors can explore the following four thematic islands, showcasing material innovations and sustainable high-tech textiles:

- Circular Material Streams
The exhibition highlights how BIOTEXFUTURE is fundamentally rethinking the textile value chain. By researching various alternatives to fossil-based textiles, it proves that a more sustainable future for fashion and materials is not only possible, but already underway.
As an innovation space funded by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), BIOTEXFUTURE brings together partners from research and industry to fundamentally reshape the textile industry – sustainable, bioeconomic, and future-oriented.
